Sun Ruizhe made a review of the development of China's textile industry since the 18th CPC National Congress in the work report of the China Textile Federation, and expounded how the textile industry in the new era can play a greater role. In the 40 years of reform and opening up, the industry has also achieved tremendous success. The textile industry has maintained a steady and healthy development. In improving people’s livelihood, serving the people, and satisfying people’s living needs, the status of the people’s production industry has become increasingly prominent.

In the current situation where the country is to fight the three major challenges of building a well-to-do society in an all-round way, the textile industry must first solidly push forward the development of stability and progress, and fight for major risks to prevent and resolve major risks. In explaining the priorities of the China Textile Federation in 2018, Sun Ruizhe used the words “reshaping,” “integrating,” “opening,” and “focusing” to summarize. At the meeting, Duan Xiaoping issued the “Three-year Action Plan for Integration of Production and Finance in the Textile Industry” on behalf of China Textile Association. Duan Xiaoping said that the action plan takes innovation as the main line and plans the three major training priorities for technology-innovative companies, brand-innovative companies, and development-model innovative companies. It is hoped that after three years of efforts, the integration of the textile industry and the capital market will be further promoted, and a more comprehensive production-and- financing service system will be established.
